Access by Design offers services for built environment and digital accessibility. Our portfolio includes projects located in Texas, ADA and ABA consultation, and Fair Housing consultation for projects of all sizes and funding sources. We now offer digital accessibility services including site reviews, consulting, and branding assessments to meet WCAG standards and Title II requirements. From new developments and existing properties to single websites and city-wide transition plans, our experienced staff offers expertise for local, state, and federal requirements as well as widely accepted best practices in both the built environment and digital spaces.

Texas Projects
We are Registered Accessibility Specialists in the State of Texas licensed to perform state-required plan reviews and inspections.

In Texas, commercial construction projects with a cost of $50,000 or more are required to be registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and submitted for plan review and inspection to ensure compliance with the Texas Accessibility Standards.
Register with TDLR:
To register your project, click the button below, complete online forms on the Texas Architectural Barriers online System (TABS), and enter RAS #51 to work with Access by Design.
Alternatively, you may submit the TDLR AB Project Registration Form and submit it to our office for registration. The $175 filing fee will be collected as a reimbursement.

ADA & ABA Consulting
Our ADA and ABA consulting services include projects outside of Texas, Federal projects, and Title II Self Evaluations. We offer plan reviews, inspections, facility condition assessments, Title II self-evaluation building surveys, and general consulting on all project types.

Fair Housing Consulting
We offer plan reviews, inspections, and general consulting services for multifamily housing projects ranging from low-income tax-credit housing (LIHTC) to student housing to high-rise luxury condominiums and timeshares. Our team assists our clients in navigating the complex and multi-layered federal, state, and local accessibility requirements for this complicated project type.

Digital Accessibility
Access by Design now offers digital accessibility services! We offer website and digital content reviews with in-depth reports to help you and your organization meet WCAG standards. We are able to advise on branding guidelines, implementing better digital accessibility patterns in content creation, and preparing for Title II requirements.
